Updating SMB on my N2310.
#1
Hi, after Windows 10 update I can not connect to my N2310 anymore because it says its using SMB1 protocol and now to connect it needs to be SMB2.

How can i now update my N2310 so it will support new SMB protocol?

Cheers, Jani.

SMB is a feature enabled/disabled in Windows. I dont use win 10, but u must enable smb protocol.
Look here, that's your solution Wink

This will work but SMB1 ist obsolete an insecure. Thecus better would update their os to support SMB2.

I have a N4810 which uses the same firmware file as the 2310.

File Service -->Samba -->Advanced

you should see where u can set the min and max samba version.

4810 and and 2310 are not the same.
2310 is on powerpc architecture with OS6. Latest firmware available for download is N2310_OS6.0.871.t2.app at this link

According to the info it solve the Samba security issue CVE-2017-7494
