[Nextcloud][12.0.3.0] OwnCloud fork
#16
Don't reinstall it
First check why is not showing anymore in the installed apps, check if the folders are where should be, post the results of below commands:

Code:
ls -l /raid
ls -l /raid/data
ls -l /raid/data/module/Nextcloud_okm
ls -l /raid/_SYS_TMP/Modules/Nextcloud_okm

Did you checked also if is showed in the "Update" section of AppCenter ?
php.ini is the same for all modules which depends on apache. Everytime you update this file you should stop/start the modules

I need your help with this.
Quote:Code:
ls -l /raid
ls -l /raid/data
ls -l /raid/data/module/Nextcloud_okm
ls -l /raid/_SYS_TMP/Modules/Nextcloud_okm
I haven't figured out how to run commands against the NAS.  Confused If I had, I would probably have tried to install LibreOffice for nextCloud, although that's a whole different issue.

Update: When I go to Update, there are no apps there at all.  I just noticed that MariaDB doesn't show as being installed either.

To run commdans, you have to activate SSH in OS7 webservice.

Then use Putty to connect to NAS trough ssh
user : root
passw: youradminpassword

But be carefull what commands you will run

PS: i suspect an issue on latest firmware, some other user gave me access to check it. He had the same problem that the module dissapear from installed apps after reboot. He had to roll back to 3.00.07.4  and i use also this version

I went to the Download Center, and thought I was downloading the firmware you use, but it downloaded the one I already have when I clicked the link; 3.01.00.5.2.  If you hover it you will see, but it no longer says beta.

Not certain if this is a step forward or backward. I reinstalled the non beta 3.01.00.5.2, and now both modules are back. There are no errors in any logs, but none of Apache, MariaDB, or nextCloud will open to anything but a blank page, or a Safari page saying can't connect to 192.168...

MariaDB and nextCloud show as unverified, and it says to reinstall the modules; should I try this? All config files seem intact and pointed to where they should be.

Yeah...some changes in latest firmware.
Even if you reinstall the module it will not shown in App Center. This scenario happen with the modules which are manually updated, and they are not available yet in the Thecus Repository. To make the module visible again, you have to use my module OutkastM Repo and update my repository. This app also update my repository after reboot
This situation (dissapear fromInstalled section) is not happening with the manually installed modules which were never available in Thecus repository

The modules are showing and running after the firmware update. They just don't do anything.  I added your repository a while ago, but I couldn't see how to use it.

If you go to App Center > Manual install and click Update below "Update Module List", the modules Nextcloud and MariaDB are still visible ?

I reinstalled Apache, MariaDB, and nextCloud; they all work now! MariaDB didn't show as installed until I installed nextCloud again. nextCloud has the wrong icon now in the installed part, but not on the desktop. Check the screenshot.

The nextCloud documentation recommends using apache 2.4; is that something you are going to move toward?

I was going to send you login info, but if I couldn't connect to it, you couldn't either.

Thanks for looking at this for me!

About the icons, if you open OutkastM repo and click on Update Repo the icons will be shown
I plan to switch all the apps to apache 2.4 but it will take time as a lot of libraries need to be compiled

I'll update the repo again; I did that once today already, but that was before installing the mods again.  I've got Virus Scan running right now.  It didn't show that it followed the schedule I set for it, so I don't even know if it's actually doing anything, or just says that it's scanning. It seems as though I need to reinstall all the modules that I had, just to make sure they're working.

I'd offer to help with the 2.4 module, but then I could be responsible for a global disaster!  Big Grin
