Firmware v2.06.00.5 Beta Problems
#1
I have installed this firmware and have noticed some files are corrupting when I copy them from a MAC. They are placed in the folder with 0 bytes and do not appear immediately. I try to overwrite the file with the same file and it cannot do so and produces a "file not complete error" then the file may suddenly appear to finder and I am unable to delete it until I have waited a while or restarted the NAS.

Best would be creating a ticket at our eticket system. Please be sure to add a download of the conf.bin to the ticket. You can download that from the GUI at [system management -> config mgmt].
Kind regards,

Wouter

OK done.

Only question, before I upload the conf.bin what information does it contain and how can I view it?

The conf.bin is not something you can view, it is decrypted. For tech support it contains various logs and things like:
- dmesg
- ifconfig
- Samba server configuration
- RAID status and history
- HDD superblock information
- SMART details of HDD's
- File system status
Kind regards,
