Plex problem after firmware upgrade to v2.05.12
#1
I have a n7510 and i run on it 2 application: plex, transmission.
Everithing was good till i upgrade the firmware from v2.05.08 to v2.05.12
After upgrade, when i reinstalled plex, my nas procesor goes to 100% busy.
I made a factory reset but nothing... i reinstalled the plex app....nothing.

I dont know if my problem is because i did something wrong or is a problem with the new firmware.
What i need to do ? Technical people from thecus will fix the problem or i need to downgrade the firmware ? has anybody else the same problem ?

Please excuse my english

Dear Sir,

Current Plex module made from Plex directly, thus we report this issue to Plex around Nov already, and waiting for response from Plex soon.

i just received answare from plex forum. they have no problem with the application. it seems to be from your firmware upgrade. i`m telling you again, before upgrade was no problem. Please fix it and till than please give me the oportunity to downgrade the firmware and teach me how can i do it. Other way this nas is without any use for me. I see many people like me, in same situation.

Thank you

My problem was solved with a FW downgrade that people from thecus sended me by mail.
So they send me a very small rom file (patch) and after this the sistem aloowed me to do the FW downgrade.
Now my NAS work normal with plex app, like before upgrade the FW Wink

If anybody elese has the same problem and need to solve the issue with plex, i recomand to place a ticket (http://thecus.kayako.com/) and to ask for the FW downgrade patch.
I provided for this my mac address and serial number, so i think the patch is not the same for everybody (but i`m not sure)
If anyone really want to use my patch (1237019BACK.rom) i will upload immediately with the thecus instructions too.

Thank you very much Yvon and all thecus team.
Wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
