HDMI problems with N4800eco
#1
Hi guys.
Its my first post here.

I hope some of you can give me some answers regarding my problem.
I bought a Thecus N4800eco from a Danish reseller (I'm from Denmark) because I was at CeBIT in Germany a couple of weeks earlier and talked to some American Thecus guys and got pretty excited about the HDMI feature.

Here is some info.
Model: N4800eco
Current firmware: 2.03.09.cdv
LocalDisplay: 1.00.00.15.atom
VLC Player: 1.00.05 (2.0.6)
XBMC: 1.00.06(XBMC_12_Frodo)_cdv

My problem is what no matter if I play movies with VLC or XBMC, horizontal lines comes across every second. Usually its only one or to lines at the time, but it looks bad are you tend to focus at the lines.

I have tried different setups:
HDMI to TV.
VGA to TV - sound to Yamaha amp.
HDMI to TV - sound to Yamaha amp.

The lines comes more often and are more obvious with the HDMI than VGA.
I have tried with a different HDMI cable from my PS3 witch is connected to the same tv (Sony 40" Full HD 1080p) the PS3 have no problems, and deliver a great full HD picture, but the Thecus does not deliver proper picture Sad

Does any have a clue about this ?

I have moved it to http://forum.thecus.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=6712

But I can't seem to figure how to delete this topic?

I will try with another tv, and reply with the result.
