[HOW-TO] Removing a module under SSH
#1
All Thecus NAS are installed in /raid/data/module/$modulename

where $modulename is the name of module

Log in SSH :

find the $modulname :

Code:
cd /raid/data/module
ls -l

now replace in the following code $modulename by the name of the module to delete

Delete /raid0/data/module/$modulename :

Code:
rm -rf "/raid/data/module/cfg/module.rc/$modulename.rc"
rm -rf "/raid/data/module/$modulename"
rm -f "/img/htdocs/module/$modulename"

and use the following command to remove from database :

Code:
/opt/bin/sqlite /raid/data/module/cfg/module.db "delete from module where name = '$modulename'"
/opt/bin/sqlite /raid/data/module/cfg/module.db "delete from mod where module = '$modulename'"

after that your module is uninstall and is not any more on the Webui list, better is to reboot NAS to be sure to clean process list

Hello Stéphane,

I did all the things you wrote above

The dir's are gone now but only having problems with removing from database

But the deleting of the database i get stuck.

CODE: SELECT ALL
/opt/bin/sqlite /raid/data/module/cfg/module.db "delete from module where name = '$modulename'"
/opt/bin/sqlite /raid/data/module/cfg/module.db "delete from mod where module = '$modulename'"

If i give the command by putty : /opt/bin/sqlite /raid/data/module/cfg/module.db
I get a . command promt.. What next to do ??

I have some moules that are not running on my nas and i would get them out.

example if module name is owncloud

you can check the name with :

Code:
cd /raid/data/module
ls

then you do :

Code:
/opt/bin/sqlite /raid/data/module/cfg/module.db "delete from module where name = 'owncloud'"
/opt/bin/sqlite /raid/data/module/cfg/module.db "delete from mod where module = 'owncloud'"

the module will be deleted from the module list on the thecus webui Wink

if the directory is still here (after reboot), probably need to desactivate sabnzbd

better ruse winscp to check, and navigate on the NAS tree...

i think your network config has some trouble...

did it really sownload the Git package ? check this in /raid/data/module/sickbear/bin ?
did you try to reboot to kill zombie process, before reinstall SickBeard ?
