Please update your forum!! This is really not the way for a professional forum...

Actually it was work in progress. According to our webmaster, it's done now and we should be spam free for now Smile

Thank you! Just need to clean out the userlist, but that don't bother me that much. And remove some more older spamposts.

OK, so getting this thread back on topic, my wishlist would be:

1. Ability to upload SSL certificates for web module/web disk/admin interface etc. This should include the ability to upload trusted roots.
2. SFTP support, but would require (1) above.
3. An admin interface that renders correctly in Apple Safari.
4. More reliable (or less idiosyncratic) R/NSync/FTP backup.
5. Live mirroring to USB/eSATA drive.
6. SSH access to file system

Thanks for listening. Wink

SSH access or
Telnet access or
File management applet or
better documentation so that i can produce an addon myself for the above features.

They are in order of preference. I will not be buying another Thecus product until at least one of these features are available.

I just bought an N4200PRO. I would like to see HFS+ support for the external usb and eSATA ports as well as in the internal drives.

My wishlist:

1) To be able to go out to my local PC store and buy components for my N4200. For example: SATA/power cables. I am still having I/O errors on Disk 3...all occurances from other users point to bad SATA/power cables (which have always been replaced to resolve the problem).

I locked away my N5200xxx and im using the wake-on-lan feature to start the nas via an iOS-device. The intranet-interface of the thecus nas is not accessible through safari on iOS. Therefore my whishes are:
- an iOS compatible version of the intranet web-interface
- a function to shutdown / reboot the nas via Thecus Dashboard

thanks in advance
